The One That’s Got It All: the Primer to End All Primers

The One That’s Got It All: the Primer to End All Primers

We don’t know about you, but every time we hear the one that’s got it all our minds run straight to Adele and ‘we used to have it all’ starts blaring in the form of the one that’s got it all, just us? Anyways…

You may think we were being a little cocky during the naming process of this one, but we promise you, it really does have it all. This sun primer is a holy grail product, a must have, a new bestie. It has that ‘je ne sais quoi’, well actually, we do sais quoi so let us tell you!

The one that’s got it all is an invisible featherlight primer (Ooh! Very fancy!). Now buckle up for the list of things it has and does:

  • Broad Spectrum Protection (UVB and UVA)
  • High Protection, SPF50
  • Sweat Resistant
  • Water Resistant
  • Fragrance Free
  • Anti-Pollution\Blue Light Protection
  • Infrared Protection

Not to mention it’s vegan and cruelty free.

Why it’s so great

The reason we love this product so much is because it is so versatile. If you wear makeup, chances are you have a primer, chances are that primer doesn’t have SPF in it, so this is an easy switch already! When you apply it, it leaves a matte velvety finish that provides the perfect base for your tinted moisturiser or foundation. We’re talking smooth application. But hang on, it’s not just great for under makeup, no no no. Due to the matte finish, sweat and water resistance, the one that’s got it all is also amazing on it’s own if you are working out or just want that little extra something, something. It has an almost blurring effect that makes your skin look *chef’s kiss*.

What are the key ingredients

1. Carnosine

This dipeptide composed of two amino acids helps protect against blue light to prevent ageing and environmental damages (Oh yeah, if you weren’t aware that’s what your phone and computer screens were doing to you, surprise… You can read all about it here though!)

2. Hyaluronic acid

This helps reduce water loss from the skin’s surface and promotes healthier more supple skin aka helps your skin stay hydrated!

3. Vitamin C

Hello brightening and radiance! This natural antioxidant helps protect against free radicals.

How to use it

Follow that classic two finger rule and apply to dry skin as the last step in your skincare routine before you start your makeup. Think of it as a sun primer sandwich: skincare, primer, makeup. Of course, don’t forget to reapply every two hours!

PS: shake this one like you shake a margarita on a Friday night before you use it!
